Sterner Leach

—an optometrist, small business owner, and longtime active member of the Great Falls community. This is where I raised my family, practiced my profession and built our business, living and working in Senate District 12.
I’m running because I truly believe Montana is ‘the Last Best Place’ and want to serve the people of this state by upholding our Constitution, protecting our freedoms, and standing up for the values that bring us together.
After decades in healthcare, I’ve learned that listening is the first step to solving problems, and that’s the approach I’ll take to Helena.
I support protecting our public lands, strengthening our public schools, and backing small businesses. These are the foundations of strong communities.
I’ll bring a practical, common-sense voice focused on solutions, accountability, and working together—not partisan politics.
It’s time for leadership that listens and puts Montana families first.
