Dr. Mindy
Sterner Leach

img_3375

Dr. Mindy Sterner Leach has spent over 35 years earning the trust of the Great Falls community, one patient at a time.

An optometrist and small business owner, she’s provided eye care and glasses to thousands of residents, including Medicaid patients who struggled to find support elsewhere. Mindy is also a proud caregiver and children’s advocate. Since 2005, she has offered eye exams for infants at no cost because every child deserves care, regardless of income.

One of the great privileges of Mindy’s job is getting to know and care for her patients. It is an honor and sacred duty that she doesn’t take lightly. After decades of treating our community’s medical issues, Mindy’s running for State Senate to solve the problems – our problems – that extend beyond the exam room.

Mindy is not a politician. She has no desire to play political games in Helena. She will be an independent voice for Montana that will fight for lower healthcare costs, cheaper groceries, and stronger public schools.

Mindy lives with her husband of 36 years, Morgan, and their little poodle named Pepper. In their free time, they love to explore the outdoors, whether that’s biking or skiing. They have two children, Braden and Micah.
